Intercompany Trade Union Organisation NSZZ „Solidarność” in Volkswagen Poznań is the biggest union organisation in the automotive industry in Poland. Our story started in 1993, exactly when the company – Volkswagen Poznań was established.

Today we represent almost 65 percent of the Employees, that is why we make a highly organised community of working people. With our knowledge and experience we can assist the Employees in their relations with the Employer.

We stand up for the rights and interests of the Employees, together with the Employer we decide on all important issues concerning the Employees and the Company, we protect the interests and equal opportunities for all of us.

Intercompany Trade Union Organisation NSZZ „Solidarność” in Volkswagen Poznań represents over 6000 employees of Volkswagen Poznań, which accounts for trade union membership of about 65% in the company in Poznań. The production in Volkswagen Poznań is performed in 4 Plants: at the outskirts of Poznań in Antoninek (assembly department, welding shop and paint shop), in the centre of Poznań (foundry), in Swarzędz (assembly department, welding shop) and in Białężyce – Crafter plant. The structure and range of the Trade Union covers all these locations.

Elections to choose new trade union structures are held every four years. During the elections, the members of the Union choose the representatives of the Boards of Associations and delegates, who elect decision-making and executive bodies during the Intercompany Meeting of Delegates.

Piotr Olbryś is the president of Intercompany Trade Union Organisation NSZZ „Solidarność” for the 2018 – 2023 term of office, Intercompany Commitee (KM) NSZZ „Solidarność” consists of 37 members, whereas Audit Committee of 7 persons.
